Examinations

Dance Examinations

We encourage all students to participate in Examinations as they assist to stimulate concentration and effort, improve technical abilities, and also gives students a focus of working towards a goal that results in a great sense of achievement.  

It is vital that students wishing to participate in the exams attend every lesson in order to give them the confidence and knowledge necessary. 

Participation in exams not compulsory.

Ballet Exams

We offer Classical Ballet Exams in the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Syllabus.

The RAD recommends that Students wishing to take the Grade Examinations should attend a minimum of 2 Ballet classes per week.  RAD Grade exams will be held on either Monday 25th July, 2022 or Monday 1st August, 2022 **To Be Confirmed by RAD** – closing date for entries is Saturday 30th April, 2022. 

Students wishing to participate in Exams must attend the Exam Holiday Classes held in the second week of the Term 2 Break and must attend the following minimum classes per week:

Exams are not compulsory and students who do not wish to undertake Exams may attend 1 class per week.

Jazz Dance Exams

We offer Jazz Exams in the Bell-Rose Academy Dance’s own Syllabus. 

Students wishing to participate in the Jazz Exams must attend regular classes each week.

Tap Dance Exams

We offer Tap Exams in the Southern Federation of Dance (SFD) Syllabus.

Students wishing to participate in the SFD Tap Exams must attend regular classes each week.
